What are Biometric Finger and Facial Scans?

Lets start with the biometric finger scan. The biometric finger scan is already being used on driver's licenses, and will be used on the REAL ID. When a finger scan is taken it is converted to a numeric code as described in the illustration below.


What is a numerical set of numbers? A bar code! Are you getting a weird feeling yet?

What else is going on the REAL ID? Facial recognition photos! These too are already being issued on drivers licenses! I facial recognition photo marks certain geometric locations on your face and places them on a grid where is it converted to a numerical number just as a finger scan is.

Every face has numerous, distinguishable landmarks, the different peaks and valleys that make up facial features. The computer software used for Facial recognition scans defines these landmarks as nodal points. Each human face has approximately 80 nodal points. Some of these measured by the software are:

• Distance between the eyes
• Width of the nose
• Depth of the eye sockets
• The shape of the cheekbones
• The length of the jaw line

These nodal points are measured creating a numerical code, called a faceprint, representing the face in the database.




The software used to create these scans can pick a face out of a crowd and match it up with the face in their database. It doesn't matter where you are, walking in the bank, driving down the road... Just about anywhere, your SSN, birth certificate, REAL ID number and everything else will be available for anyone who has the software to detect your facial features.



If these two things are not an invasion of a persons identity I don't know what is.

What Makes a DL "REAL"?

This question was asked in a comment and I am going to do my best to answer it.

"Can you explain the connection between the ID and the license? What makes something "REAL"?"

The DHS says, "In the future, individuals may use a State-issued driver’s license or identification card to board a commercial aircraft, gain access to a federal facility, or enter a nuclear power plant only if it is REAL ID-compliant."

So what makes it REAL ID compliant. Let's see if we can find out.

Right now your boring old driver's license contains the following;

-Full Name
-Address
-Date of Birth
-ID Number
-Picture
-Signiture

Now what do they need in addition to make it "REAL"?

The biggest thing is an Electronic Chip that will be inside the card.

What does this chip contain?

-Full Name
-Address
-Birth Certificate
-Social Security Number
-Facial Recognition
-Possibly a Biometric Finger Scan
-Possibly an Iris Scan
-Signature
-And more, I have heard that it is also a GPS tracking device.
-The government has no limit as to what can be stored on this chip.

An interesting fact: Anyone with the right technology (which is very easy technology to get) can scan through your wallet or purse and retrieve the information from your REAL ID.

Getting Real?

On the front page of the business section in the Oklahoman news paper it has a picture of the REAL ID and asks "Getting real" Below is what part of the article stated;

"Oklahoma is one of the 17 states opposing the REAL ID Act, which was spurred by the 9/11 commission and requires states to comply with a set of standards for issuing driver's licenses and personal identification cards.
Although the deadline of compliance is not until Dec. 31, 2009 states have until May 11 to agree to comply with the act or face the threat of their IDs not being accepted at airports." "That means there will be delays," said Stewart Baker, assistant secretary of policy for the Department of Homeland Security. "If you have a passport it is no problem, but we are not allowed to accept a drivers license that is not REAL ID"

Imagine that. Why won't they take a STATE issued Drivers License? Why do they need a FEDERAL passport or a NATIONAL ID? Can you really believe this is not a "control" thing?

Rep. Charles Key said, "The first issue for many of us is whether it's unconstitutional for the federal government to say, 'OK, you are going to have to do X,'" He said the act is another way for the government to dictate and control the Nation.

The National I.D. is all about you.

Before we get into business I am going to share a little something I learned on the radio today! Do you know that the city of Denver is trying to crack down on car theft? So to do this they have began issuing tickets to people who leave their car running unattended. This morning between 6 and 10 AM the Denver police issued over 100 tickets to people who's cars where parked in their driveway running to warm up.

Can you tell me that isn't crazy?

Okay, so now onto a short article my Dad wrote...

Isn’t it interesting that the entity that wants this new I.D. has no regard for God and denies our Redeemer?

It’s not good enough that we have birth certificate, SSN#’s, D.L.’s, tax numbers, picture I.D.’s
Now they want to finger print you. Don’t you find it odd it has always only been criminals that are fingerprinted in this country? And it’s not just a finger print.
They want finger tip – biometric – numerical imaging. They want biometric – facial recognition. Iris scans.

They’ve made legal fictions out of most of us already. (If you don’t understand what I mean by legal fiction you have some research to do).
Up until now most people can get out of most contracts they have with big brother.

Now they want a concrete way of making you a permanent subject.
They want to mark you as their property. They want your being- They want your soul.

Revelation 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of … gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

The national I.D. is all about you. It is all about your soul being property instead of being a free person in God.
WARNING! This is not about your security. This is not in your best interest. Every country under dictatorship has resorted to similar ways of keeping control over its subjects.

You don’t understand what the purpose of our fore fathers was if you see no problem with the National I.D.
Many people will see nothing wrong with this because they have been indoctrinated with statist ideas and values.

A lot of people now believe the state is sovereign over the person when in fact it is ‘supposed’ to be the other way around.

Many people will want to say “not so”. Don’t say it to me. I know better.

What is the REAL ID?

"REAL ID is a nationwide effort to improve the integrity and security of State-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards, which in turn will help fight terrorism and reduce fraud." as defined by the Department of Homeland Security.

On the REAL ID will be a biometric finger scan and facial recognition scan. If you are unfamiliar with biometrics they are scans which are then converted to numbers and bar codes. I don't know about you, but the idea of the government converting my personal features God gave me into bar codes and numbers is very scary.

Not only will other information be listed such as name, birth date and just normal things that go on an ID, it will also include your religion and occupation.

But that is not all! All of this information will be put into a GPS tracking chip that is inserted into the card. Now when you are pulled over or go to the airport all they have to do is swipe your card and they have all your information including where you have been.

The information on this card will be readable to millions of people through government and non-government databases.







The other day I was talking with a friend and we talked about a great analogy. Do you know that if you put a frog in a pot of water and then slowly heat it up the frog will just stay in their until it is done for and too late to get out? But, if you put a frog into a pot of already boiling water it will drop right out. To me that sounds a little bit like what situation the american people are in. What is the government warming us up to?

Note: I am note saying I believe what the picture illustrates below, but it is interesting to look at. Will they someday want to take that same chip that is going to already be in your ID and simply put it under your skin all for security?

Why is the REAL ID happening???

Originally I was going to post a series of post over the next week about what I feel has led up to the REAL ID, but I have been urged to hurry up and get into it, so instead of that I have condensed all those posts into one. Now you might be asking yourself, what is it that has lead up to the REAL ID?

I will start with the BIRTH CERTIFICATE. We as American people don’t see much of a problem with them even though there is nothing Biblical about them. They are a piece of paper issued at birth to confirm that you were born; it is a form of identity. However, God doesn’t use that to identify us.
I can prove to you I was born without showing anyone a birth certificate. If you don’t believe me buy me a plane ticket and I will come visit you. Oh, but what day was I born? Who cares? Makes no difference to God what day it says I was born on my birth certificate. For all any of us know we could have been born in September when our birth certificate says May.
So what is a birth certificate now? It is a form, used by the government to track you and who you are from day 1. BUT, it really isn’t that bad so we can make an exception to it… Bob doesn’t like the idea of having a birth certificate, I mean how does it help his relationship with Christ.

Another is a MARRIAGE LISCENSE. I don’t believe it makes a difference to God if a couple is married whether we have it or not. After all he never said anything about them in the Bible. So this is another state issued document that is used to make a couple to produce more subjects (children). Well, but how does a marriage license restrain me anymore than a birth certificate?

DRIVERS LISCENSE This again is something God never required of us. But hey, it makes sense we would have them. I mean come on, we have to be sure everyone is safe. Safe? PLEASE! I haven’t seen a drivers license make anyone more safe then if they didn’t have it. Yet instead this is another form of identification used by the government to control and track its subjects. I don’t really know why I shouldn’t get it, I mean to keep peace it is worth it and besides, it isn’t much worse than the birth certificate and marriage license I have, so why not? Besides it is cool! It has your picture on it.

If you were born in a hospital you were probably issued a SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER automatically or your parents may have gotten one for you. This is great right? Well, let’s see, first of all, the SSN wasn’t even ever suppose to be a form of identification, but that is what it has become. It is a card with a number on it. They use that number to track you and to identify you. You know what? There is no law that says you have to have an SSN, but without it, it is pretty much impossible to, get a job, open a bank account, travel etc… We are being controlled by this number that is issued by an Anti-God government. Is anyone starting to feel like cattle? We are being identified by numbers and that is what makes it possible for us to function! Reminds me of the verse in Revelation, we will not be able to buy and sell without a number. You can’t open a bank account without a number so you really can’t sell anything because when written a check what are we suppose to do with it? We can’t get a job, but that is okay because even if we could we couldn’t cash checks. Well, the SSN isn’t so much worse than a driver’s license so we’ll do that too.

Okay, so in the eye’s of the government we are a perfectly good citizen. I have a birth certificate, marriage license, drivers license, and an SSN. Is that not enough? Obviously not because the government didn’t stop there. Hmmm, they thought, this just isn’t enough to track someone and keep control over them. So they tell everyone, PREVENT IDENTITY THEFT! I mean good grief, if it weren’t for them there would be no identity they could steal. I wonder why identity theft isn’t ever mentioned in the Bible.

So to make things better they started recognition scans and photos. So now when you go obtain your driver’s license they take a biometric picture which is then converted to a number. Then they want a finger scan which is also converted to a number.

Now is that not enough, oh no! What next?

I have a lot of things that keep me busy and I really don’t have time to keep up a blog, but I am going to try, because what I am going to say here, is something, that I believe is a tremendously important issue and I, as a follower and bondservant of Jesus Christ, feel obligated to warn people out there. Today we live in a society that has turned so far away from God. We need to be sure we don’t slide in that same direction. Jesus is our king, not the president, or anyone else.

Christians moved to America as an escape. Somewhere where they could worship God as a free person. This is the country God gave us! We came here to live according to His law, not to be under the bondage that we are today. It is time for people to wake up!

The main purpose of this blog, is to warn Christians out there about the REAL ID that will start being issued May 2008. Some of you don’t realize how dangerous this is, but before getting to that issue I am going to do a series of post that are going to lead up to and explain what has lead up to the issue we have on our hands today.
